our story

From a walk in Donadea Forest to a church in Staplestown — the bits and pieces that brought us here.

    It all started with a swipe

    We matched on Tinder and had our first date walking the length and breadth of Donadea Forest — endless laughter, hours of talking, and plenty of sussing each other out.

    And then there were three

    We welcomed our beautiful baby girl, Córa Rose. At just 23 and 25 we hadn’t a clue what we were doing — but we had great fun figuring it out together.

    A very special place

    Córa was christened in St Benignus Church, Staplestown — the very same church where we’ll say “I do”. A place that will always hold a special part of our story.

    Our little family adventure

    Our first family holiday to Kilkee, Co. Clare — and arguably the best week of our lives. For the first time it was just the three of us in our own little space. A very special time we’ll always treasure.

    Forever three

    We lost our darling Córa. Suddenly it was just the two of us again, but we were completely changed. We had to learn how to carry Córa with us while finding our way forward together.

    Finally!

    After a week travelling through Pisa, Florence and Rome, Erin had well and truly given up any hope of seeing a ring. Then, on our final night, outside the Colosseum, Conor pulled a blinder and got down on one knee.

    Our rainbow arrived

    Handpicked by her big sister Córa in heaven, Florence arrived and brought the colour back into our lives again.

    Let the planning commence!

    Venues, bands, dresses and suits — approximately a million decisions later (we’re both Libras and always changing our minds), the countdown was officially on.
